You know that feeling after a long rain when you step outside and the whole world seems renewed? The colors are brighter. The air feels lighter. Everything that was dormant suddenly bursts into bloom.
That's the energy of this collection. Fresh. Vibrant. Full of possibility.
The Story Behind After the Rain
In November 2023, I released The Peace Wreath collection — a holiday design featuring holly and doves that became beloved by our community. My father, who lives in Sweden, chose the Peace Wreath with doves for his dining table after my mother passed away last year. Seeing that quilt in his newly arranged space, I realized something.
Peace isn't just for winter holidays. Peace is for every season of life.
I wanted to create something that would carry that same peaceful energy forward into spring and summer. A garden that blooms after the rain has cleared. A space where doves can nest among flowers instead of holly. A reminder that after every storm, new beauty emerges.
This collection was born from that vision. It pairs perfectly with The Peace Wreath for year-round beauty, or stands magnificently on its own as a celebration of renewal, growth, and the quiet joy that comes after the rain.
And just as I was finalizing the name, Arizona experienced record rainfall. Our desert cacti burst into unexpected bloom. Everything had a brightness and freshness that felt like a gift. The dove that brought the olive branch to Noah after the great flood came to mind, and I knew: this was After the Rain.

The Floral Wreath
